I absolutely love learning about other cultures and about people’s histories. When Chammy mentioned that they were having a Cambodian wedding in the morning and Western wedding in the afternoon, I was so excited. For me, photography is a tool to get to a more intimate level of relationship with people. It provides me opportunities to meet new people, learn about them and their perspectives on life. As I grow, life more and more becomes about relationships, life is made up of relationships. I’m glad my relationship with Daewon and Chammy began this past weekend at their engagement session.
I met Daewon and Chammy at Cafe Lurcat in Minneapolis before we quickly photographed their engagement session as it started raining about 10 minuted into the session. Their entire shoot was 20 minutes, tops, but it was a great 20 minutes.
