Rhett and Kim…. fresh, exciting, passionate, alive! These two live the expectation of great things from life with each other. It rained… was sunny for an hour and during the ceremony… then rained some more… then tornado warning… BUT the joy of their wedding day was not affected at all!
Also, I was reminded that the wedding day is just the beginning of a journey when I found out that Kim’s sister Becki, whose wedding I photographed almost two years ago, was pregnant with TWINS! Hurray!
It is easy to think we know what a wedding is, what it will be, what it will look like, but then you find out that you’re having twins and realize that the wedding day is just the beginning of a journey with another person who is making the journey with you, who is going to be with you and stay with you even when he or she can’t know what that will mean in reality.
Rhett and Kim, welcome to the beginning of your journey full of hope for the unexpected joys that will come when you stay with each other through the good and the bad because they are both blessings.
