What I Do

There are many ways to tell a story, and photography allows me to utilize an art form I enjoy, while also affording me the privilege of chronicling life-in-motion. I never have to make the people I photograph appear beautiful, because they already are. I simply strive to uncover the unique beauty within every person I photograph. Childhood, graduation, engagements, and weddings are all poignant and beautiful life-moments—opportunities to capture life in all of its real and temporal glory.

Regardless of the photographic style used—photojournalistic, portraiture, or editorial—I work to best provide a service and quality of imagery that surpasses expectations. As a photographer, I am also a director. From the beginning of a shoot to its close, I strive to make my clients feel comfortable and relaxed without ever leaving opportunity for them wonder, “Okay, what comes next?” I love photographing people in their element, wherever they are most themselves—never trying to force a pose or situation for the sake of the image.
