Betsy and Tanner's day was a elegant expression of their personalities and their relationship: beautiful, considered, classic and gracious.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding day?
Tanner’s favorite moments were the speeches and the dance. All of the speeches were really wonderful and heartfelt. We may be slightly biased, but they were some of the best speeches we have ever heard at a wedding. And the dance was a blast with all of our friends and family.
It is almost impossible to pick a favorite moment for me. I also loved the dance, especially at one point when I was surrounded by my childhood friends, college friends, co-workers, and family. So many people from different parts of my life all together having fun. I also really loved our first dance and sunset pictures because we were actually able to have a few minutes (sort of) alone.
What was your favorite detail from your wedding day?
It’s hard to pick a favorite detail because it was all so wonderful. We really made a whole wedding weekend of events which I am glad we did. On Friday afternoon we invited all the guests to the Madden’s Tennis and Croquet Center for games and a chance to meet everyone. We also did a bonfire Friday night with all of the guests invited. This was a great chance to talk to a lot of friends and family and relieve some pressure from the wedding itself.
I’m also so glad we choose to get married at Madden’s. I have always wanted to get married on a beach and it created a really relaxed vacation vibe to the whole weekend.
What was your experience working with me on your wedding day?
Working with Tim was wonderful! Since we are pretty awkward and not professional models we really appreciated your experience. You knew which locations would look best for pictures and were very willing to tell us how we needed to stand or position ourselves for the best outcome. You also were very easy-going which helps with the heightened emotions of a wedding.
