I'm Tim Larsen — a documentary and editorial wedding photographer based in the Brainerd Lakes area, with 19 years and 350+ weddings behind me. Pine Peaks is one of the venues I actively look forward to photographing, because natural light on a private estate gives me tools that don't exist at resort venues. It's always the people.

I know what the garden arbors look like at golden hour when the field behind them turns amber. I know that the Fireside Tavern's fireplace light is warm and layered. In summer, golden hour runs from about 7:30 PM onward, and the combination of wildflowers, warm field light, and open Minnesota sky is extraordinary. The Fireside Tavern's fireplace light is the best indoor candid light on the property — warm, layered, genuinely beautiful. It's the window I build every Pine Peaks timeline around.
